The Astrakhan Region wants to be three years ahead of the plans of the old resettlement program from hazardous housing. The issue was discussed at a meeting held on September 17 by the deputy chairman of the regional government, Mikhail Bogomolov, on behalf of the governor Igor Babushkin.
According to “Astrakhan-24”, earlier the head of the region signed an agreement with the Fund for Assistance to Reforming Housing and Communal Services on the early implementation of the resettlement program. Now it is calculated until December 2022.
“Our goal now is, relying on this agreement, to fine-tune the interaction and the mechanism of work in order to be on time within the specified time frame. It is important to correctly distribute the financial performance of all stages of the accelerated program in order to predict co-financing from the regional budget for the next three years, “Bogomolov said.
It is planned to sign an additional agreement with the leadership of the Fund for Assistance to Housing and Utilities Reforms next week. The document will contain specific terms and amounts of funding.
The accelerated program provides for the resettlement of housing recognized as emergency before January 1, 2017. Until 2022, it is planned to resettle houses in Astrakhan, ZATO Znamensk, in Akhtubinsky, Kamyzyaksky, Krasnoyarsk and Privolzhsky districts of the region.
Earlier in September, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to allocate additional funds for the relocation of citizens from emergency housing in 2020. To solve this problem, 50 billion rubles will be allocated from the government reserve fund.
On August 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to work out a mechanism for accelerating the resettlement of dilapidated housing by analogy with emergency housing.
