A bill to toughen the punishment for noisy motorcyclists may be submitted to the State Duma in September. This was announced on Friday, August 21, by the deputy chairman of the committee of the lower house of parliament on ecology and environmental protection, the author of the initiative, Mikhail Starshinov.

“In September it may be introduced (a legislative initiative to toughen punishment for noisy motorcyclists. – Ed.),” The Moscow city news agency quoted the deputy.

It is proposed to amend the Code of Administrative Offenses. According to the current norm (Code of Administrative Offenses, Article 8.23) for the use of vehicles, the noise level of which exceeds the standards, you can now receive a warning or a fine of 500 rubles, according to the TV channel “360”.

On July 23, it was reported that the State Duma had developed a bill prohibiting motorcyclists and moped owners from dangerous maneuvering between the rows and parallel traffic with other vehicles in the same lane.

It assumes a fine of 3 thousand rubles for driving in the lane parallel to the car, and 15 thousand rubles for dangerous maneuvering along the aisle.
