The rating of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin grew smoothly, and at the moment his support is 40-42%. General Director of VTsIOM Valery Fedorov told Izvestia about this.
“There were several interesting episodes related to the new government. This is the prime minister’s own illness, and an episode of his report to the Duma, and his trips around the country, and the government’s search for its place on the front of the fight against the pandemic, ”the sociologist said.
Fedorov stressed that Mishustin was not lost, but was acting actively and adequately to the situation.
“His support grew smoothly, today 40–42% approve of his work, 11–13% do not approve. The balance, as you can see, is positive, ”said the head of VTsIOM.
He noted that today politicians are expected to provide a realistic program of post-crisis recovery and consistent implementation of such a program. At the same time, it is very important to keep close contact with people, communicate with them, and support psychologically, the specialist added.
In addition, the head of VTsIOM spoke about the attitude of Russians towards Alexander Lukashenko, the “brotherly” feelings of Russians and Belarusians, as well as the course of “vaccine skeptics”.
