Singer and composer Kai Metov said that a television interview with the director of the recording studio, where he had previously taken his phonograms, helped him to become famous.
In Boris Korchevnikov’s program on the Russia 1 TV channel, he said that at that moment he divorced his wife, and also barely made ends meet.
After he took the phonograms to the studio, a friend called him and advised him to turn on the TV, as they talk about Metov in the MuzOboz program.
Then the guest of the program was the director of the studio “Sound” Andrei Lukinov, he talked about an unknown performer, whose phonograms fell into his hands.
“Kai, if you can hear me, come back to the studio, we will definitely talk to you,” Meters recalls the words he heard on TV.
After that, he contacted Lukinov, which marked the beginning of his career. Soon Metov recorded his first solo album, which included the hit Position 2.
