In Omsk, 123 protocols were drawn up in a week for violation of the mask regime. Not only drivers and conductors of public transport are fined, but also passengers.
This was discussed at a meeting in the city administration with the participation of employees of the Ministry of Regional Security, the mayor’s office, Rospotrebnadzor and heads of transport companies.
Violators of the mask mode are identified using the Stream + program, which is being implemented as part of the Safe City project.
According to the Minister of Regional Security Andrei Kondin, quoted by Gorod55 news agency, control over the wearing of masks in public transport will be strengthened, and tougher measures will be taken against violators.
Omsk residents face a fine from 1,000 to 30,000 rubles for the lack of a mask, officials will be fined from 10,000 to 50,000 rubles, and legal entities – from 100,000 to 300,000 rubles.
On August 5, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin admitted that the restrictions imposed in the capital due to the coronavirus would last for several more months.
