A resident of St. Petersburg was charged with the murder and dismemberment of her husband. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee on Friday, July 31.
Fragments of a man’s body were found in an apartment on Nevsky Prospect. According to the investigation, during the quarrel, the suspect killed him in an unidentified way, and then dismembered the corpse in order to further destroy the evidence.
The investigation is requesting the arrest of the woman.
The dismembered body of rapper Andy Cartwright (Alexander Yushko) was discovered on July 29. His wife Marina Kuhal claimed that he passed away from a drug overdose, and she decided to dispose of the body in order to hide Cartwright’s death from fans. The woman said that she agreed to undergo a lie detector test to prove that she was not involved in his death.
The musician’s acquaintances call this version unfair. According to them, the rapper had problems with alcohol and could go into a binge, but did not use drugs. Cartwright himself said the same thing during his lifetime.
The Izvestia source also said that the examination did not reveal any traces of drugs in the tissues of the deceased, but found ethanol. He could have caused death.
