Russians can now familiarize themselves with information about domestic vaccines against the new coronavirus infection in the section on the stopcoronavirus.ru website, which appeared on the portal on Friday, July 31.

“Our task is to give people the most complete information about those developments that have proven their effectiveness, as well as to consolidate on one site the results of the work of all participants: scientists, researchers, ministries and departments in the structure of which scientific institutes are located,” said the director general of the ANO Sofia Malyavina.
The section currently contains basic information about vaccines developed by the State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology “Vector” of Rospotrebnadzor and the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology. N.F. Gamalei of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Also, the user can find answers to questions about the composition of vaccines, their research and development stage. The section will be updated as information becomes available.
According to Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova, the launch of the vaccine into industrial production will begin in September.
On July 29, the Assistant Minister of Health of Russia Alexei Kuznetsov said that the coronavirus vaccine developed at the Gamaleya Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology is undergoing an examination, its registration is expected on August 10-12.
The day before, it became known that the second phase of clinical trials of the vaccine, developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute, is at the final stage.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking on July 22 in the State Duma with a report on the government’s work for 2019, noted that 17 scientific organizations in the country have developed more than 26 types of vaccines, four of them have proven their safety. He expressed hope that the finished vaccine will appear in the fall.
