Zenit head coach Sergei Semak may break the agreement with the blue-white-blue due to a number of reasons, Sport-Express reports. The coach of the St. Petersburg team is dissatisfied with the actions of the club’s general director Alexander Medvedev and sports director Javier Ribalta.
Semak’s particular indignation was caused by two facts. The transfer of striker Alexander Kokorin to “Spartak” and the fact that the coaching staff of the team was just now offered a new contract, and even then for one year.
After this story, Spartak, Lokomotiv and Krasnodar immediately showed interest in the specialist. Recall that Semak took over the leadership of Zenit at the end of May 2018. Together with the team, he twice became the champion of Russia, won the Cup of the country.
