At a meeting on July 30, members of the working group on the Constitution discussed the implementation of amendments to sectoral legislation, co-chairman of the group Andrei Klishas told Izvestia.
The participants will gather until all the necessary initiatives are adopted – most of them will be submitted to the State Duma in the autumn session, after which the subjects will begin to change their regional charters.
Among other things, they discussed the already approved law on equating violation of the integrity of Russia with extremism, including the alienation of part of its territory.
To implement the new provisions of the Basic Law of the country, it is necessary to adopt about 100 initiatives, and most of the work will be done this year.
“The main package will be prepared in the autumn session of the parliament, including the draft law on the State Council,” Klishas assured.
In August, the working group does not plan to meet, but in the first half of September it will definitely hold a meeting, said Pavel Krasheninnikov, head of the State Duma Committee on State Construction and Legislation. He noted that there is no exact schedule yet, but the meetings will be held quite often.
Some norms will be consolidated in several initiatives at once – for example, the principle of unity of public power systems will be reflected in the laws on the State Council, on the government, on the organization of the system of power in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and local self-government.
