On Sunday, May 2, the Zenit metro station will open in a test mode in St. Petersburg. At the entrance and exit, the station will work from 15:00 until the end of train traffic. This was reported by the press service of the St. Petersburg metro.

The test mode provides for the operation of the station only during the above-mentioned period. The opening of the Zenita station for passengers as usual will be announced additionally.

The opening of the Zenit station has already been postponed several times. The renovation was last reported to be completed in December 2020. However, there were problems with funding.

The station stopped operating in April due to decreased passenger traffic following the introduction of coronavirus restrictions. In July, repairs began there.
