In Moscow, the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) is below the epidemiological threshold. This was announced on Monday, April 26, by the press service of the Rospotrebnadzor department in the capital.
The department noted that from April 19 to 25, the epidemiological situation for influenza and SARS in the city corresponds to the season of the year, the incidence rates in the total population and in all age groups of children are below the epidemic threshold.
“In the landscape of circulating viruses, respiratory viruses of non-influenza etiology are determined, including rhinoviruses – 23.6%, parainfluenza – 23.5%, metapneumovirus – 5.9%, other viruses of non-influenza etiology – 47.0%,” the agency cites the message. city news “Moscow”.
Rospotrebnadzor noted that in connection with the preparation for the epidemic season for influenza and SARS in 2020-2021, more than 7,417,100 people were vaccinated at the expense of all sources of funding. This is 59.1% of the total population of Moscow.
At the same time, 4786 residents fell ill with ARVI in the Lipetsk region. The indicator is 14% below the estimated epidemic threshold. Among all cases, children make up 65%, it is specified on the website kp.ru.
Earlier, on April 19, the press service of the Moscow department of Rospotrebnadzor reported that in the capital, the incidence rates of influenza and SARS are below the epidemic threshold by 41.8%.
