Employees of the capital’s head office of the TFR issued the seventh and, most likely, the final decision to refuse to initiate a criminal case on the death of singer Valentina Legkostupova. Thus, death from closed traumatic brain injury is accurately recognized as an accident.
According to Kommersant, the investigation established that the woman, being drunk, slipped in the bathroom. The trauma was complicated by chronic illnesses associated with alcohol abuse.
And no signs of crime, as well as a possible beating by her last husband, Yuri Firsov, were found. At the same time, the investigator emphasized that Valentina Legkostupova had been abusing alcohol for more than ten years. Drunkenness “was of a pseudo-drunken nature.”
As it turned out, the singer developed a “tolerance to alcohol up to 0.7 liters of vodka.” She had lost protective reflexes, and also had a craving for alcohol and amnesia. The woman’s hangover syndrome was accompanied by “severe neurological, mental and somatic disorders.”
Meanwhile, the singer’s daughter Anetta Bril stated that she did not exclude the possible involvement of the last spouse of Yuri Firsov’s mother in her death. However, now the investigation has questions for the daughter of Legkostupova herself. They are connected with her high-profile accusations in the media, as well as with the alleged theft of documents from the widower and the loss of money from her mother’s apartment.
Firsov himself demanded that the police bring Bril to justice for stealing his personal documents and a large sum in euros. According to one source, it was Firsov’s money from the sale of the yacht. According to another version, these are the singer’s personal savings.
