The rating of Russian regions by the dynamics of the labor market, which was compiled by RIA Rating, has been published.
It turns out that over the past 3 years, the number of employed citizens has increased only in 14 regions of Russia, and in 70 – it has decreased. The top ten leaders include Sevastopol, Tyumen Region, Kamchatka and Krasnodar Territories, Kaliningrad and Moscow Regions, Republic of Adygea, Republic of Crimea, St. Petersburg and Moscow.
In provincial central Russia, the number of employed is declining. The Yaroslavl Region took 51st place in the rating, our number of employees decreased by 23.3 thousand (-3.7%). Our neighbors have a similar situation. So, the Ivanovo region – took 66th place, over the past three years the number of people employed there has decreased by 30.8 thousand (-6%); Kostroma region – 63rd place, the number of employees decreased by 16.8 thousand (-5.5%).
At the same time, RIA Rating experts note: it should be borne in mind that a small generation of the late nineties – early two thousandth entered the working life, but more numerous representatives of older ages retire. That is, the number of people employed in the economy is also declining for demographic reasons.
