Today, on April 17, the second citywide clean-up work in 2021 took place, in which the head of the administration of the city of Tula Dmitry Milyaev took part.
Together with him, the authorized representative of the governor of the Tula region for interaction with representative bodies of municipalities Nadezhda Shkolkina, deputy head of the administration Sergey Shestakov and others went out to clean the city.
As part of the subbotnik, the territory of the Ice Palace was cleared. 25 maple seedlings were planted here.
According to Nadezhda Shkolkina, subbotniks are necessary for the city – they help not only put the city in order after winter, but raise the cultural level of its inhabitants.
The authorized representative of the governor of the Tula region added that such events unite the people.
“We go out to the streets together and do one common noble deed – we clean and clean our hometown. Today we are planting trees, contributing to the improvement of the ecological situation, and just making it more beautiful, ”said Shkolkina.
Dmitry Milyaev emphasized that employees of various organizations and enterprises, caring residents of our city traditionally participate in the citywide cleanup:
“Together we are preparing Tula for the upcoming May holidays, for the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War – after all, we want to see our city well-groomed and beautiful,” said Dmitry Milyaev.
The head of the administration of the city of Tula added that more than 100 addresses in all districts of the regional center are involved in work today, more than 15 thousand residents have joined the subbotnik.
“Today, 25 maple seedlings have appeared near the Ice Palace, and we do not plan to stop there,” concluded Milyaev.
Recall that the next citywide cleanup will be held on April 24, 2021 on behalf of the head of the region as part of the month of cleanliness in Tula.
