“Buranovskaya grandmother” Anna Prokopyeva on March 26 told REN TV reporters about the importance of vaccination against coronavirus.

“Since scientists have worked on this, so many people are sick, this vaccination is needed. My son was sick, my brother was sick, my husband’s brother was sick. They were very seriously ill. Still, we need to give an injection, get vaccinated so as not to get sick like that, ”shared Prokopyeva.

She also noted that all conditions have been created for vaccination in Russia, and most importantly, vaccination is free.

Earlier on March 26, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia is facing an information campaign to slander its vaccines, but is not “at war” with anyone.

She denied the statement made earlier by French President Emmanuel Macron that Europe is experiencing a “new type of world war” related to vaccinations. The diplomat suggested that the West itself is the instigator of this war. She also pointed out that Russia is experiencing an information campaign to discredit Russian vaccines.

The first COVID-19 vaccine in Russia and the world was registered on August 11, 2020. Sputnik V was developed by specialists from the Gamaleya Center.

The Russian vaccine, as previously reported by the British research company YouGov, is one of the most popular and recognizable in the world, according to a survey of 9.4 thousand people from Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.
