Over the past week, 40 residents of the Pskov region were taken to hospitals with influenza and SARS. As told to “MK in Pskov” in the department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Pskov region, such statistics for the period from 1 to 7 March this year were provided by experts.
Compared with the data of the previous week, sanitary doctors say, the number of hospitalizations has not changed significantly. The proportion of hospitalized ARVI patients from all cases was 1.1%.
“The incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza is below the threshold level for the population as a whole by 52.3%. As of February 26, 9 classes in 3 schools, 3 groups in kindergartens, 1 boarding school, 1 group in a secondary special educational organization were closed due to the incidence of ARVI, “the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor noted.
