In total, 4,534 people with COVID-19 have died in the capital since the beginning of the epidemic.
As of August 5, 866 627 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Russia, 244.7 thousand in Moscow. A total of 14.5 thousand people died in the country, 669 026 people have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic.
On Wednesday, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the restrictive measures introduced due to the coronavirus could be extended for several more months.
