A young girl from Velikiye Luki received 10 years in prison for selling drugs. This “MK in Pskov” was reported by the press service of the Pskov region prosecutor’s office. She was tried under Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
In early July, the girl sold drugs for 2,400 rubles. The buyer turned out to be a law enforcement officer who worked in the “test purchase” operation.
In court, the defendant’s lawyer tried to convince that under the guise of drugs she was trying to sell boric acid, but the evidence from the investigation suggested otherwise.
Taking into account the position of the public prosecutor, the girl was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment in a general regime colony.
