The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine decided to impose sanctions against 12 Ukrainians, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after the meeting on the air of Ukraine24.
Zelenskiy explained that the sanctions are being introduced against the second group of smugglers. The first sanctions were imposed on April 2. It is known that businessmen Seyar Kurshutov, Yuri Dvorak, and Alexander Cherepinsky were included in the sanctions list.
“The Ukrainian Security Service is dealing with smugglers today, they know how many passports they have, how many citizenships, and many of them really have dual citizenship or even three citizenships,” Zelensky said. He promised that the smugglers would be dealt with “quickly.”
