The traditional, already ninth in a row, the “Night of Theaters” action will take place in Moscow on March 27, and it will be possible to participate in the event both in person and online. This was reported in the Department of Culture of the capital.
More than 130 cultural venues of the city will present their programs.
“In order to join the“ Night of Theaters ”as many people as possible could, the platforms – the participants of the action prepared an interesting and diverse online program. It includes interactive excursions, performances, concerts, creative meetings, lectures – about 30 events in total, ”said Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.
The Night of Theaters will open with a performance by Yuri Bashmet to the music of Alexander Tchaikovsky “Date in Moscow” directed by Pavel Safonov. It will be performed on the stage of the Moscow Academic Musical Theater named after K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko. The broadcast will be available at 19:00 on the mos.ru website.
One of the central events of the action – the special project “Six Revelations about the Future” with the participation of the artistic directors of the capital’s theaters, will also take place in the zoom-conference format. The broadcast starts at 22:00 on the mos.ru website and on the pages of the theaters participating in the meeting on social networks.
In turn, the Moscow Musical Theater “Helikon-Opera” invites you to join a master class on the art of opera. The lesson will be conducted by the artistic director of the theater Dmitry Bertman for the participants of the youth program “Helikon”. The meeting will take place in the historic White Column Hall of Princess Shakhovskaya. It can be viewed live on the theater’s official YouTube channel. Beginning at 22:00.
To the 100th anniversary of the Moscow Academic Theater named after Vl. Mayakovsky will host “Night at the theater under the chandelier.” The live broadcast of the concert will begin at 22.00 on the theater’s YouTube channel.
Lectures and exhibitions on theatrical art, which can be viewed online, will also be held by Moscow museums, including the Ilya Glazunov Gallery, the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, the K.G. Paustovsky and the Museum of Vladimir Vysotsky.
Many programs are being implemented in Moscow aimed at developing and improving the city. In particular, in 2018, the Moscow Mayor’s program “My District” was launched in the capital, aimed at the integrated development of each district of the city. As part of the program, modern public spaces are being created in the capital, a new standard for cultural, social and medical institutions is being introduced, and transport, sports and leisure infrastructure are being improved.
