Three-time world champion, two-time winner of the World War Games, European champion captain Maria Lasitskene was vaccinated against coronavirus infection on Friday, April 23 at the 52nd Consultative and Diagnostic Center of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“The season is starting soon, so my coach and I decided that I’d rather be vaccinated, I wouldn’t worry and be distracted from the preparatory process. Naturally, I will observe all the precautions, but psychologically it will be easier for me and my body, ”the Zvezda TV channel quotes the athlete.
The athlete said that after the first stage of vaccination she feels well.
“I believe that my body will absolutely calmly endure the vaccination without surprises,” the CSKA sportswoman emphasized.

At the same time, it was previously reported that Putin himself was vaccinated.
Large-scale vaccination against COVID-19 has been taking place in Russia since January 18. The vaccination is given free of charge to everyone.
