In the near future, the world community will be able to use tools to contain the coronavirus pandemic. This was stated by the head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
“We have the tools to bring this pandemic under control within a few months if we apply them consistently and in a balanced manner,” he said during the briefing.
At the same time, the head of WHO is concerned about the rate of spread of COVID-19 among people aged 25 to 59 years.
According to the latest data, the number of coronavirus cases in the world has exceeded 141 million.
