Local authorities are obliged to ensure that residents are not left without vital resources. Therefore, complaints about poor quality power supply due to accidents at transformer substations should be sent to the city administration.
Volgograd power engineers reported that 529 transformer substations were repaired in preparation for next winter, and 49 more remain to be repaired by the end of this year, Vecherny Volgograd.ru writes.
The rules for the provision of utilities determine the maximum time to eliminate emergencies. Resolution No. 354 determines the permissible duration of a power outage:
– 2 hours, if there are two independent mutually redundant power supplies;
– 24 hours – with one power supply.
If the deadlines are violated, you should contact the municipal housing inspectorate. Recalculation in this situation is not appropriate, since most people pay for light by the meter. But an order to eliminate violations or a fine will be issued. And for the supplier, this will be a reminder that the substation in the problem area needs to be repaired.
