The revenue of VKontakte for the first quarter of 2021 increased by 21.2% compared to the same period last year, follows from the financial statements of Mail.ru Group, the results of which were published on April 29.
It is noted that in March, the daily audience of VKontakte in Russia increased by 5.9% compared to 2021 and amounted to 48 million, while the number of unique visitors per month reaches 73 million.
Of the total audience of Runet users, 47% visit their VKontakte page every day, the reports say.
As the popularity of the social network increases, so does the daily volume of messaging. This indicator increased by 7.4% year-on-year.
At the same time, the monthly active audience of VKontakte applications is expanding. In the first quarter of the year, it exceeded 37 million, which is 36% more than a year earlier. The daily active audience of VK MiniApps has grown by 80%. At the same time, the audience of mobile games grew by 30% over the year, and the catalog – 4 times.
Also, VKontakte users set a new record in March for daily views of clips – 246 million. In general, videos posted on the social network collected more than 970 million daily views in the first month of spring.
At the end of March, it became known about the renewal of the VKontakte music section. It was reported that the social network is launching its own album chart, and adds the dynamics of changes to the track chart. In addition, the card of your favorite artist now contains collections and hits with his participation.
