In summer, the weather in the capital region will be within normal limits and without excess rainfall, said Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center.
At the same time, the forecaster once again reminded that the probability of long-term forecasts is only 65-70%.
“In general, in the temperate latitudes of the European part of Russia, in particular in the Moscow region, the temperature regime is expected to be around and above normal. How much higher is impossible to say now. But summer is not expected to be cold, ”he said in an interview with the Moscow 24 TV channel.
At the same time, according to Vilfand, the weather in summer will not be dry, but you should not expect an excess of precipitation either. Periods of warm and dry weather will give way to cold, rainy days, he explained.
On April 5, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center denied forecasts of a summer drought in Russia. He stressed that forecasts of drought before the end of May cannot be made, as they depend on precipitation, which cannot be predicted for such a long time.
