Moscow entrepreneurs can take advantage of a new support measure: now, when renewing lease agreements for non-residential premises, they can postpone the mandatory advance payment for the last five months of lease until the end of 2022. Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, spoke about this. Deferral can be obtained by individuals and legal entities, as well as individual entrepreneurs.
“The new support measure is designed for entrepreneurs who plan to extend their lease agreements, as well as for businessmen who have already done so in the period from March 5, 2020 to March 22, 2021, but have not yet made a mandatory payment for the last five months of the lease,” said official. – 1.8 thousand entrepreneurs, whose lease agreements have already expired or will end in 2021, will be able to get an extension. Business can apply for a deferral until the end of 2022 ”.
The city’s new support will reduce the financial burden on business and allow businesses to increase turnover, said Moscow business ombudsman Tatyana Mineeva.
Deferred five-month payments must be made by December 31, 2022. The payment plan is determined by the tenant.
