According to the press service of the US Navy, in the Persian Gulf, the American patrol ship Firebolt opened warning fire on speedboats of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran.
It is clarified that the reason for the warning shots was the fact that Iranian boats at high speed approached the Firebolt and another American ship carrying out an operation to ensure safety at sea.
“On April 26, three IRGC speedboats came close to the Navy patrol ship Firebolt and the US Coast Guard patrol ship Baranoff in international waters of the northern Gulf … retreated to a safe distance, “the military said.
