According to the source, there was a sudden release of coal and gas in the preparation face. Three branches of the VGNG left the scene of the incident. Arriving at the site, one victim with no signs of life was found, later the second victim was found.
The regional department of Rostekhnadzor clarifies that ventilation at the emergency site has been restored, and rescue operations are being carried out. The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kemerovo Region reported that at the time of the accident there were 44 people underground, of which 41 were evacuated.
