The footage of the military exercises of atomic missile carriers of the Russian Navy in the Arctic, published on March 26 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, became the most popular post on the page in Twitter Japanese TV channel NHK.
As noted by RIA Novosti, over the past two hours, this news has collected the largest number of views.
The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of how three Russian nuclear submarines simultaneously rose to the surface in the Arctic and broke through the 1.5-meter ice during the Umka-2021 military exercises.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, said that such an ascent in a limited area with a radius of 300 m was made for the first time in the history of the Russian Navy.
He also said that more than 600 military and civilian personnel, as well as about 200 samples of weapons, military and special equipment, take part in the expedition.
