With the onset of heat in Tula, work continued on the restoration of the last water-folding booth in the city. Recall that it was moved from the street in the fall of 2020 to the courtyard of the local history museum. Now the carvings and details are being restored at the booth.

“Yesterday the first parts of the cornice board were installed, which consists of two parts. Returned four pairs of items called towels. On our booth there are no native “towels” left, but on the old filing boards the places of their attachment have been preserved. Copies of these elements were made from a single photo from another booth. Our main builder Sergei Uruev spent a long time preparing for this installation. All the elements were prepared during the off-season in the home workshop according to the drawings, the appropriate paint was selected, ”the activists say in social networks.

They add that 485,200 rubles have already been collected for the restoration of the booth where water was sold before the development of centralized communications. To complete the work, calculations are required, we need at least 250,000 rubles more.
