WILMINGTON | Democratic candidate Joe Biden sharply attacked Donald Trump on Wednesday, saying his failure to deal with the coronavirus pandemic “totally disqualified” him for the presidency, during a speech in Wilmington, Delaware.

“The first responsibility of a president is to protect the American people and he doesn’t. This totally disqualifies him, ”said Joe Biden, stressing that the American president refused to put in place national measures of physical distancing against the virus.
The former vice-president also displayed his distrust of Donald Trump regarding the creation and distribution of an effective vaccine against COVID-19.
“I trust vaccines, I trust scientists, but I don’t trust Donald Trump. And right now the Americans cannot be trusted either, ”said Joe Biden.
“One thing is for sure, we cannot let politics interfere with the vaccine in any way,” he added.
