In the Cheryomushki microdistrict in Krasnoyarsk, a tram ran into an 83-year-old woman who was crossing the road. The pensioner died, according to the Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The accident occurred on Monday, April 26, on Volzhskaya Street. According to preliminary data, the driver of tram number 6 did not notice the pensioner, who decided to cross the carriageway near the stop “Polyclinic”, and allowed a run over.
As specified in law enforcement agencies, the elderly woman was dragged several meters. She died on the spot from her injuries before the arrival of an ambulance.
