TOZ celebrates the 130th anniversary of the Mosinskaya rifle with a “Week without a turnstile”

Students of the IVTS them. V.P. Gryazev, Polytechnic Institute, Technical College named after V.I. S.I. Mosin TulGu visited the Imperial Tula Arms Plant as part of the Week without Turnstiles, initiated by the Russian Engineering Union. This was reported by the press service of the university.

The event was timed to coincide with the 130th anniversary of the adoption by the Russian army of the three-line rifle of Sergei Ivanovich Mosin.

Students at the enterprise were accepted by graduates of TulGu. The students got acquainted with the mechanical assembly production, saw the main equipment functioning in the workshop. The students learned how the process of machining workpieces proceeds and how the robot copes with its tasks to measure errors in the processing of the product.

The head of the fitness center Alexei Chekmazov told the guests about the plant’s teams, achievements and initiatives. The guys visited the gym, the site for various types of training and the hockey players’ training base.

The final destination was an exhibition of finished products. The students saw the Konkurs and Kornet rockets, civilian and special small arms.
