In the Sverdlovsk region, three men will be tried for the murder of a child whom they abducted for the purpose of further ransom 15 years ago. REN TV reported about it on April 12.
It is noted that according to the investigation, in January 2003, in Nizhniy Tagil, criminals kidnapped the businessman’s minor son. They planned to receive a ransom from the businessman later.
“Under a fraudulent pretext, the accomplices brought the teenager to a house on Kievskaya Street in order to keep him until they received the money. Soon, fearing that the young man might report the crime committed against him to law enforcement agencies, the accused killed the teenager, ”the TV channel quotes the message of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the region.
The body of the boy was left by the man at one of the garage cooperatives in the city. On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated, which could not be opened until 2019. Then the investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Sverdlovsk Region, together with the criminologists of the regional Investigative Committee, as well as law enforcement agencies, went on the trail of the alleged criminals.
During the period of the preliminary investigation, about 80 witnesses were questioned. Approximately 20 expert examinations were ordered to establish all the details of the case. The volume of materials was 12 volumes.
Earlier, on April 7, it became known that four citizens were detained for kidnapping a man and extortion in the west of Moscow.
According to the investigation, on the evening of April 5, near a residential building, a group of persons, by prior conspiracy, using violence, put the victim in a car and transported him to another area of the area. There they demanded 1 million rubles from the man.
