The United States will not hesitate to impose anti-Russian sanctions. On April 27, a high-ranking representative of the American administration told reporters about this.
“Our approach is stable: as we said, we will not hesitate to impose a price on Russia for actions that we consider beyond decent, unacceptable for a responsible country,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
A spokesman for the American administration added that the United States and Russia will have a “frank conversation” about Russia’s response to US sanctions.
“We don’t want escalation, but we want to show Russia what kind of activity we don’t want to tolerate,” he said.
In general, according to him, the United States is demonstrating a “long-term” approach, in particular, to the Russian Federation and Afghanistan.
