In the spring of 2022, road inspectors will be able to fine Volgograd drivers on new grounds. The draft of the new traffic rules was prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
This was reported on Friday, April 23, by the Kommersant newspaper. According to the newspaper, motorists will be able to issue fines for the use of studded tires in the summer, damage to the bumper and protective films on the headlights.
The prepared draft resolution contains an appendix to the traffic rules with a list of faults in which the operation of the car is prohibited, while the previous list will be recognized as irrelevant.
The new document details the requirements for the use of types of headlights, in particular xenon or LED, and introduces a penalty for driving without headlamp cleaners and headlight level auto-correctors.
For the first time, the number of violations will include the lack of sun visors and airbags, as well as the presence of objects on the windshield blocking the view.
It is assumed that the amendments may enter into force on March 1, 2022.
