The entrances and exits of the Moscow market “Teply Stan” are closed due to a special operation. This was announced on Tuesday, August 11, by a law enforcement source to TASS.

Operational actions are related to the fight against illegal migration, writes Gazeta.ru.

“Employees of the FSB, police and Rosgvardia are conducting a special operation at the Teply Stan market in Moscow. According to preliminary information, suspects who were engaged in forging a number of documents and seals are currently being detained, ”he told the agency.

According to law enforcement officials, Tepliy Stan may have prepared documents so that foreigners could legally stay in Russia.

Earlier, on July 3, at a meeting on “On topical problems of ensuring law and order in the period of overcoming the consequences of the coronavirus epidemic,” Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the expert community is discussing the possibility of complicating the procedure for granting migrants the right to work in Russia. The talk was about allowing a citizen of another country to enter Russia only if “unequivocal confirmation of his employment” is received from the Russian employer.

According to him, about 40% of migrants who could not leave the Russian Federation lost their jobs and this can contribute to the growth of crime.
