The State Traffic Inspectorate of Russia and the “European Media Group” summed up the results of cooperation

“European Media Group” and the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia announced the results of cooperation in the current season. As part of the implementation of the Federal Target Program “Improving Road Safety in 2013-2020”, the radio stations of the holding released a series of thematic projects for their multi-million audience *

From August to December 2020, Road Radio aired 30 issues of the weekly information and analytical talk show Together for Safety. Every weekend, the invited experts explained to the radio listeners important changes and the current norms of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of road safety and the formation of a culture of behavior of its participants, as well as discussed the most pressing problems faced by novice drivers, safety rules for the transportation of goods, passengers and, in in particular – children, speed limits, first aid on the road, arrangement of the transport network, reform of the registration and examination system of the State Traffic Inspectorate.

Leading experts of the country, representatives of federal ministries and departments, public organizations, doctors, teachers, lawyers, among them the deputy of the State Duma of Russia, head of the project “Safe Roads” Vladimir Afonsky, took part in the talk show “Together for Safety”; Evgeny Ufimtsev, Executive Director of the Russian Union of Auto Insurers; Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy in the Field of Automobile and Urban Passenger Transport of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Vladimir Lugovenko; expert in the field of road safety and public figure Natalya Agra, expert of the center “Movement without danger” Vladimir Bakharev; organizer of the largest Russian motorcycle-rock festival “Moto-Maloyaroslavets” and President of the Russian Association of Motorcyclists Alexander Kisel.

Radio listeners were also actively involved in the discussion – they shared their opinions, stories from life and asked questions by phone. The topics “How has the quality of roads changed in recent years” and “Since when did you get your license?” Caused a special stir. Also during this time, more than 10,000 people took part in public opinion polls on the content of programs on Odnoklassniki and VKontakte.

Radio 7 on Seven Hills aired 20 original issues of the Road Letter. The project was designed for schoolchildren and their parents in order to popularize the Traffic Rules in an easy, playful way, understandable and accessible to everyone. The protagonists of the program are the Kolesnikov family and the presenter. According to the plot, dad is an experienced driver, mom recently drives, 14-year-old son loves a bicycle, electric scooter, thinks about a moped, and 12-year-old daughter is still only a pedestrian, but is fond of a hoverboard, skateboard and roller skates. In each “Travel Letter”, the family discusses the situation in which one of its participants falls – most often these are children. Parents answer their questions, and if adults themselves have questions, they look for the correct answer together. In the final, a traffic police officer gives his expert commentary.
