It was proposed to increase the annual paid leave of parents raising three or more children to 35 days. Such an initiative was made by State Duma deputy Ivan Sukharev, RT reports on Wednesday, August 12.
According to the newspaper, the parliamentarian sent a letter with a corresponding proposal to the head of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation, Anton Kotyakov.
The legislator notes that parents with many children bear a very heavy burden. At the same time, according to labor legislation, they can count on paid leave of only 28 days if they are not included in a certain category of specialists.
“In this regard, I ask you to consider the possibility of amending the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, in terms of providing citizens with three or more children under the age of 18 with an annual basic paid leave of 35 days,” Sukharev said in a letter.
The deputy added that citizens will be able to devote additional days of vacation to both personal rest and activities with children.
On August 11, Izvestia wrote that the All-Russian Popular Front (ONF) appealed to the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Economic Development with a proposal to reduce the size of the property tax for families with three or more minor children.
