The assignment of pensions should be convenient and automatic. This was announced on April 15, State Duma deputy and member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Vladimir Melnik.

He recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin advocated getting rid of the bureaucratic layer and simplifying the receipt of social services by citizens.

“So that a person does not come, almost humiliating himself, asking for something. If he is supposed to, he should automatically be provided with all this. For example, the same pensions, ”the deputy said in an interview with the Ura.ru portal.

In turn, Mikhail Terentyev, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, explained that at least two ministries will work to simplify the receipt of services – labor and economic development, they will analyze bureaucratic procedures and exclude many of them.

“Perhaps, taking into account the introduction of digital technologies, many things will be removed and there will be no need to provide various certificates, which are already in various information databases,” Terentyev stressed.

On the eve of Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to revise by-laws in the social sphere, removing from them “senseless and bureaucratic” procedures that humiliate citizens. He noted that it is important to get rid of procedures that are inconvenient for Russians and require a lot of time and moral costs from them, as well as demotivate employees of social institutions.

On the same day, it was reported that Russian citizens may be allowed to receive government services in electronic format without providing original documents. Also, federal legislation proposes to reflect the administrative responsibility for legal entities for refusing to accept an electronic document from citizens to receive public services in electronic form, as well as for the requirement to provide a document on paper.
