The national team of Tatarstan became the third at the championship of the Armed Forces among Russians of draft age (18-20 years old) in army hand-to-hand combat held in Nizhnekamsk. Information agency “Tatar-inform” informs about it.
The All-Russian tournament took place in the Nizhnekamsk sports and recreation complex “Batyr” on April 16-18. In total, 75 athletes from the regions of Russia and the cities of Tatarstan claimed the title of champion. As a result, the victory was won by the national team of the Rostov region, the athletes of the St. Petersburg military academy became the second, the fighters of the DOSAAF of Tatarstan rose to the third step of the podium.
Army hand-to-hand combat is a minimally traumatic type of martial art, a complex of techniques which is designed for both defense and attack.
