In Omsk, the results of the first week of the month of cleanliness were summed up, within the framework of which the territory of the Lenin district was put in order. The city mayor’s office informs about it.
According to the administration, 3,000 people took part in the cleaning. Residents collected 43.6 cubic meters of garbage, which was subsequently taken to the landfill. In total, 181 hectares of lawns were cleared, says the news agency “Gorod55”.
The work also involved 14 units of special equipment, attracted by the city authorities.
This Saturday, April 24, a subbotnik will take place in Omsk. First of all, the streets named after the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War, as well as places where festive events will take place, squares and parks near the memorial sites will be put in order.
