In the Poltava district of the Omsk region, the 45-kilometer route Poltavka-Volnoe-Novoilinovka will be put in order. The court assigned the corresponding responsibility to the regional road administration.
According to the prosecutor’s office of the Omsk region, employees of the supervisory department conducted an inspection, which showed that due to the numerous potholes, the track poses a threat to the life and health of people. The prosecutor appealed to the court with a demand to oblige the road management to repair the site, and in case of a shortage of money, the issue should be resolved by the Ministry of Construction, writes IA Gorod55.
The court satisfied the prosecutor’s demands, but the defendant tried to appeal the decision. The reason was that the funds of the road fund are directed primarily to the repair of roads with a high concentration of road accidents, while the Poltavka – Volnoe – Novoilinovka highway does not have such places.
The panel of judges upheld the decision of the first instance court.
Earlier in April, the governor of the Omsk region, Alexander Burkov, spoke about the details of the project of the northern bypass around the capital of the region. The 62 km route will connect such directions as Omsk – Tyumen, Omsk – Novosibirsk. According to Burkov, during construction, ash and slag waste that has accumulated in the city can be used.
