The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia told about the most common mistakes that Russians make when passing the exam for a driver’s license under the new rules.
Among the most common mistakes at the beginning of April were interfering with a vehicle or a pedestrian who had an advantage in movement. In addition, during the exam, the Russians made mistakes and violated the requirements of road markings, did not use the direction indicator signal, and were hesitant to use the vehicle’s controls, writes RIA Novosti on April 16 with reference to the department.
At the same time, it is clarified that such incorrect performances of techniques were recorded from April 1 to April 8.
In addition, parking errors also persisted: when performing the tasks “parallel parking” and “entering the box” on the site. According to the traffic police, most often the error was a run over to the boundaries of the zones for performing maneuvers.
Earlier that day, it became known that from April 1 to April 8, only a little more than a quarter of the candidates successfully passed the category B exam. At this time, the regional divisions of the State Traffic Inspectorate conducted 67.4 thousand practical exams, which were passed only by 17.6 thousand (26.1%) people out of 74.4 thousand candidates.
In Russia, on April 1, new rules for passing a practical exam for a driver’s license came into force. Now “playground” and “city” are combined into one practice exam. During its delivery, the traffic police inspector conducts audio and video recording of the process. Examinations are held, as before, in closed fenced areas.
