The head of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, Alexei Chekunkov, announced that it is planned to invite at least 60 countries to the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
It is clarified that for each individual representative of a particular country, the format of participation in the forum will be different: someone can be present in person, and someone can be present remotely.
“I think we will be inviting all of our traditional members. Representatives of more than 60 countries took part in the EEF. This is one of the most global forums ever produced on our continent, if not in the world. We do not plan to lower the bar, of course, depending on the epidemiological situation, “RIA Novosti writes.
He added that within the framework of the organizing committee, SPIEF Executive Secretary Anton Kobyakov announced that Roscongress intends to organize studios in the capitals of Asia so that large delegations from China, Japan and South Korea, as well as participants who are unable to attend the forum in connection with the pandemic, we were able to carry out the most effective work in a remote format.
