The governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Sergei Morozov, handed over the keys to 34 new vehicles to the head physician of the regional clinical ambulance station, Ayrat Imangulov. Funds for the equipment were allocated from the reserve fund of the Russian government.

The ambulance service received 28 new UAZ Profi class B and six Ford Tranzit class C cars.
It is noted that in 2021 the ambulance services of the Ulyanovsk region will be merged into one legal entity. Five interdistrict substations will be created on the basis of district hospitals. It is in them that new cars will be transferred.
According to the head physician of the regional ambulance station, a paramedic will work in other medical institutions to receive and transmit calls, as well as at least two ambulance teams subordinate to one of the substations.
