The Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Kemerovo Region initiated an inspection after the collapse of the wall of an apartment building in Kiselyovsk. The incident took place on May 2.
According to preliminary information, on Sunday, May 2, residents of an apartment building heard a loud noise, after which they found that the outer wall of the building had partially collapsed.
During the inspection, it was found that a section of four meters wide and about two and a half meters high broke off. There were no casualties. In total, 27 people live in the house.
“Families from two apartments on the side of the collapse have been relocated, the rest of the tenants are looking for housing options. The investigation will have to establish whether the house is in the status of dilapidated housing, ”the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kemerovo Region reported.
