The Governor of the Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko, during a trip to the urban-type settlement of Nogliki, criticized the pace of housing construction and instructed to correct the situation. On April 27, the SakhalinMedia news agency reported this with reference to the press service of the regional government.
“Such houses in other districts are being built in a year and a half. Given that the advance was paid to the builders in December 2019, it is surprising that so little has been done. This is unacceptable. <...> I urgently demand to correct the situation, ”the governor said.
We are talking about two four-story houses that are being built on Petrov Street. Each of them is designed for 24 apartments. According to Limarenko, the builders were unable to organize the work process there, and materials were not purchased either. All this led to the fact that the construction was suspended at the initial stage.
Deputy Chairman of the regional government Sergei Olontsev noted that the authorities are taking the facility under strict control. One of the houses must be rented out by the end of the year, he said.
Soon, construction of two more houses with 24 and 40 apartments should begin on the neighboring site on Tymskaya Street. They intend to put them into operation in 2022.
