The head of the football club Spartak Vasily Kozlovtsev could have entered the referee room of the Russian Railways Arena stadium before the game with Lokomotiv in the 25th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This is reported on April 13 Sport24…
The publication published a video from the under-stands of the stadium in Cherkizovo, in which a man resembling Kozlovtsev enters the place where the referees are located before the game, despite the fact that this is prohibited by the regulations of the Russian championship.
Anton Fetisov, director of the public relations department of the red-and-white, told Sport-Express that Kozlovtsev entered the referee’s room after meeting with Lokomotiv to transmit the match protocol confirmation code.
On April 12, Spartak published a video about the match against Lokomotiv on the club website, which shows the appearance of the ex-referee, who now holds the position of the head of the Lokomotiv team, Stanislav Sukhina, in the referee room. The club appealed to the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU) with a request to consider the issue of qualifying Sukhina’s actions as an unlawful influence on match officials and to bring him to justice under the RFU regulations. On April 13, the FTC RFU postponed the consideration of the Sukhina case until Friday.
The match within the 25th round of the Russian championship between Lokomotiv and Spartak ended on April 11 with the victory of the red-greens with a score of 2: 0.
Fans of “Spartak” and “Lokomotiv” during the game started a fight on the podium – for this the clubs were fined 100 thousand rubles. Also, for the fact that Spartak fans used pyrotechnics and shouted insulting chants at Lokomotiv goalkeeper Marinato Guilherme, the club was ordered to pay a fine of 530 thousand rubles. In addition, the red and whites were conditionally punished by playing one home match without spectators.
Guilherme was fined 50 thousand rubles for provocative gestures addressed to the stands of Spartak fans. The athlete was disqualified for two games.
