Educational organizations in the region were transferred to a distance learning format, and today we can already draw the first conclusions. Working with the use of e-learning and distance learning technologies has made it possible to successfully pass the pandemic period and ensure a low incidence of coronavirus infection among teachers and students. “
An indicator of the quality of the organization of the entire educational process in an extremely stressful period, according to Alexei Ostrovsky, was the Unified State Exam, which was held in strict compliance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, and generally passed without failures.
The Governor recalled that the main directions for the development of the education system in the Smolensk region are defined as updating the content of education, creating the necessary modern infrastructure, training, retraining and advanced training of professional personnel, creating the most effective management mechanisms.

The Governor drew the attention of the heads of municipalities to the need for strict observance in educational organizations of all anti-epidemiological measures, compulsory thermometry of both students and staff, provision of schools with personal protective equipment and antiseptics.
